Medical Dermatology

Applying scientific advances to protect your skin.

Medical dermatology is the foundation of our practice.

We use state-of-the-art technology and the latest medical research to help patients achieve and maintain healthy skin. A board-certified dermatologist understands the skin and its supporting structures as completely as any physician can, and ours diagnose and treat disorders of the skin, hair and nails.

Conditions we treat include acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin cancer and more.

Skin Cancer

Skin cancer screening saves lives.

New patients are offered a full skin check, and we remind patients to return for an annual check, especially when risk is high. Those with fairer skin who burn easily have the highest risk, but anyone of any skin color can develop skin cancer.

A screening is a total body skin exam, including the mouth, scalp, hands, feet, genital and perianal skin. Higher-risk skin cancers can appear where patients don't notice or can't easily see, so we look and palpate everywhere and use a dermatoscope to examine suspicious spots.

Some Risk Factors
  • Use of tanning beds
  • Excessive sun exposure
  • Living in sunny or high altitude climates
  • Prior skin cancer or precancers
  • History of blistering sunburns
  • Extensive number of moles
  • History of atypical moles
  • Family history of skin cancer
  • History of radiation exposure
  • Certain genetic conditions
  • Weakened immune system
Dermasweep skin renewal treatment
Cosmetic Dermatology

A refreshed, natural look with the latest technology.

Soften forehead lines, tighten the neck, add volume or reshape the cheekbones.

Botox, Juvéderm and laser treatments are administered by the doctors at DermCare Experts. We sort our aesthetic protocols into categories so you can see how best to reach your goals.

Dermabrasion Skin Renewal

Dermasweep for early aging lines, hyperpigmentation, photo-damage, acne and surgical scars, and dehydrated skin. Safe for sensitive conditions like rosacea.

Sun damage · Clogged pores · Age spots · Stretch marks · Wrinkles

Facial Rejuvenation

Botox and Juvéderm for natural-looking results. The “relaxers” prevent contraction of specific muscles, softening the wrinkles that contraction causes. The procedure takes about 10 minutes and is relatively pain-free.

Scar Reduction

SkinStylus microneedling for scar reduction and anti-aging, also effective on age spots, fine wrinkles and stretch marks.

Fat Reduction

BTL Vanquish ME: FDA-approved, non-invasive radiofrequency body contouring for the abdomen from flank to flank. Not intended for massive weight loss.

Hair Reduction

Laser hair removal with the Soprano ICE (Alma Lasers) for the back, bikini area, chest, face, neck and shoulders.

Palomar Icon System

Multiple devices in one platform: facial vessel and pigment clearance, scar and stretch mark treatment, wrinkle reduction, leg vein clearance and permanent hair reduction.
